We are GOING GREEN with our fundraiser! 

For the 13th consecutive year, Alan Shawn Feinstein, of the Feinstein Foundation, is conducting a Matching $1,000,000.00 Giveaway for Hunger Fighting Food Pantries during March & April, 2010, to help them raise funds.

By participating in the Feinstein Challenge, every dollar that is donated to Share the Harvest Food Pantry during this time will be proportionally matched by the Feinstein Foundation.

Also remember when giving a donation to a food pantry you can received 50% of that back in tax credit from the state of MO.   This would be an ideal time to make a contribution; it would be a win for us and a win for you in a tax credit.  In addition you can also take the donation off your federal tax if you qualify.

With the economy slowing and expenses increasing for fuel, food & housing, we have never needed your help more than we do now.  Everywhere we turn the need increases.  That’s why we need partners like you so we can weather this storm and continue to provide hope and help to all who need us in Camden County, Missouri.

 

Share the Harvest Food Pantry has been operating for over three years.  Last month we helped 657 families representing 2,168 individuals. 

People stand in line outside up to 2 hours in extreme weather just to receive their food. 

 

 

 

Our vision for the near future  is  to  provide an inside waiting room with a bathroom, instead of the porta-potty that we now use.
